All DSP’s must have a clean criminal history as established by the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Must have or be able to obtain a valid First Aid/CPR certification.
8 hours initial training, new hire training, and annual training. DSP’s also receive other ongoing training that is needed to best serve those they work with. Individual Specific Training is on-going and provided as frequently as needed. We provided/coordinate all the trainings that are needed.
Must have or be able to obtain medication administration training as needed.
Must be able to read and comprehend and follow written instructions.
DSP’s must have access to a cell phone to use while working.
Must be able to be flexible as the clients needs may change.
Must be reliable, friendly, and respectful to clients and other team members.

Currently we offer Home-Maker Personal Care services, HPC transportation, and NMT Transportation for individuals on the IO/Level 1 waivers.

At this time, we are actively in Portage County. We will consider new consumers in Summit County and other areas as we are able.
